I absolutely adore this purse for 2 reasons. 1) it really can be used to carry stuff like a normal purse, and 2) I wanted to make it from the moment I saw it on the cover of its book online! The title on the front remains sooo cute! Linda Vec had the idea and I brought it home! I counter-acted the yellow and white plaid with yellow and white polka-dots. I think it's brilliant. Oh, and I really love the back pocket which was optional btw. Fun fact: the handle is constructed from 4 parts; nobody makes mesh that long. And, yes, the bottom is stitched.

The One-and-Only Envelopurse
Diane Patton designed this magnificent purse creation. The stitches used are somewhere close to the basket-weave stitch but with four different colors. This took me about a week to complete and what I would describe as a spur-of-the-moment decision to make this thing. Trust me when I say that the inside fabric I used to line this baby is a beautiful pink dotted with silver star sparkles! I gave it away as a birthday gift.

Fire Furnished
I have posted here in the past a blue version of this Japanese meadow tissue box cover. This is the new and "improved" fire colors version! As you can see, I have stitched my logo on only one side of the box. It took me a few weeks to make this. The design is once again credited to Conn Baker Gibney.
Zebra
I love this tissue box cover even though the pattern made me dizzy! It might be hard to see but you can definitely spot my logo on the side there. The zebra normally has a multi-colored puff on the front of all four sides but was requested without one. The design is credited to Conn Baker Gibney.
The Cottage Purse

I made this on my last vacation and it's amazing how quickly I can complete a project when I have the time! It comes from the incredible mind of Dorothea Gillis. Immediately upon beginning this I realized a problem; how easy it is to see the mesh through the yarn stitches. I struggled through just using a clear mesh instead of white but ultimately decided that I'd be the only one to notice this, and it gives the purse more of an authentic feel anyway. This took me maybe a week and a few days to complete. I just love it.
