Yarn Crossing!

I made this tissue box cover a few years ago and it still looks like a work of art! The diamond in the middle of each side-called a waffle stitch- is made by crossing long pieces of yarn many times. In order to make this look right, one has to start off with a looooong piece of yarn. I just love the temerity the red color brings out for the box. The design is by Jane Beaman.

  1. I, of course, really love your work.
Each of the white is one lonnnnnnnnng thread?
It probably did take much daring to gauge the length of white yarn needed.
